about

This is our second album released in March 2013. It was recorded in autumn-winter 2012-2013 and mostly it was influenced by rave culture of 90s and such artists as The Prodigy, 808 state, Goldie and 4Hero. Although we were only born in 90s, we still love their music and we love the atmosphere. So we decided to record a rave/techno/breakbeat album which would be a dedication and somehow an homage to those years. We called it «Nasty IDM Works» because we wanted it to sound more like IDM music mixed with rave music, but as a result it sounds not really like IDM. So, we decided to call it a «nasty» IDM. In fact, it sounds a bit nasty.

The Artwork is made from a photo which was made by a band member, Stefan Lookianenko, in Venice, Italy, in February 2013.

Mind the Gap (re-edit) samples London Tube
Architects of Insanity is a song which comprises 4 songs in it. This one is actually a song about our band. (we may sound a bit obvious, yes).
Zeit Kollaps is actually a very old song, from the time I (Stefan) visited a drum & bass rave, and decided that I should definitely fucking make a drum&bass song. Well, it sure sounds good. But a bit nasty. Hope you enjoy it!
